Welcome New Pastor Rev. Gryff Carosiello! He is originally from Anderson, South Carolina and attended Newberry College from 2009-2013. During this time, he studied church leadership and religion while playing baseball for the college. In the summer of 2012, Gryff interned at Wightman where he and his college friends often served the youth group and other areas of the church. During this internship, he discerned a call to pursue ordained ministry in the Methodist Church.
After graduating from Newberry College, Gryff studied at Duke Divinity School. Since graduating and returning to South Carolina, Gryff has served two appointments in Greer, South Carolina. The first was as an associate pastor at Covenant Church for three years. Gryff has most recently served as the pastor of Sharon Methodist Church in Greer, SC for the last five years. Gryff has also served as the chair of the lead team for the Global Methodist Church of South Carolina.
